About the Journal
The theme of the “Coimbra International Conference on Human Rights: a transdisciplinary approach” allows its participants, from a pluralist and critical perspective, to analyze and discuss not only the classics, and still present, human rights issues, but also the new issues (legal or not) that present themselves to scholars and general. Thus, the event receives annually a large amount of research by authors and authors who contribute to the referred plurality from the analysis of themes from the multiple legal and social cultures.
In this space of submission and access to works presented in past editions, we intend to find reflective, content and practical, experimental and institutional references, inserted in a new era of Rights in modern society and its peculiar regulatory frameworks. We see a fruitful academic moment in which the exchange of knowledge and experiences on both processes of cultural, political and legal modernization will be possible.
In view of this proposal, pay attention to the subjects of the various thematic axes, each elaborated and organized based on work proposals previously approved in accordance with the theme and with the lines of research developed by the carrying out institutions.
