ADDRESING SDG THROUGHOUT THE CASE OF PUBLIC LAW IN RPA AND NUDGING
NOT LEAVING ANYONE BEHIND
Abstract
This paper analyzes the role of RPA in the provision of services and the connection with the sphere of different disabilities which require specific attention by public authorities. The case is clear at the European Level and the regulatory framework applied in companies and public bodies need to integrate all the possible tools to avoid any kind of discrimination based on bias and digital divide. The SDG will be then reached when this is fulfilled. The need to question the role of AI in our lives accompanies the interest of case studies aimed at exploring the role of Key enabling technologies to improve the quality of life to people with disabilities or with a kind of vulnerability which shows functional diversity. Thus, this piece will focus on the legal impact of AI and RPA when the users show any disability issue or impairment. Some proposals will be presented to improve the existing regulations in Spain. Within this context, it will also be addressed nudging in administrative law. The case is clear when we approach policies which are paying attention to inclusion, non-discrimination and digital divide. Can we nudge to promote inclusion, And can we do so using RPA in Public Law?. These questions will be addressed in this presentation. Besides it will be presented the research results of PRO-VIDA project awarded by National Research Plan in Spain.
